Melissa Roxas, a U.S. citizen and victim of abduction and torture by the Philippine military,
courageously testifies about her experience at the Court of Appeals in the Philippines on Wednesday.
Please come out and show your support for her all victims of human rights violations at the vigil held by the Justice For Melissa Roxas Campaign at the
Philippine Consulate (3600 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90010) this
Wednesday, July 29th at
6pm.
The vigil is also held in protest to the
first ever meeting between
President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo and
President Obama, which will be held the following day on Thursday, July 30th in Washington D.C.
This meeting is being criticized in the U.S. media as mistake since Arroyo has gained a notorious reputation as a corrupt politician and human rights violator.
